About Los Llanos

Corocora is a luxury tented camp located in the wetland savannahs of Los Llanos, one of the regions with the highest concentration of wildlife in Colombia.

Designed to offer superior comfort and service in a remote nature reserve, Corocora Camp is an ideal getaway for those in search of wildlife, natur, culture and adventure.

 GETTING HERE
Corocora Camp is located in a remote private reserve, and is accessible by plane, helicopter and car. The closest city to the camp is Yopal, the capital of Casanare department. Yopal has ± 10 daily flights from Bogota (1 hour) via Avianca, LATAM and EasyFly. Yopal also has direct flights from/to Bucaramanga, which connects with beautiful colonial towns like Barichara. Please note these commercial flights are on twin-engine turbo propeller planes with 48-68 seats (ATR 42-500 and ATR 72-600). Private jet charters can be arranged between Yopal and other destinations in Colcombia.

BY PLANE & CAR:
Fly to Yopal and then drive 2 hours to the camp. The first 100km (1 hour 30 minutes) are on paved roads, and the last 6km (30 minutes) are on unpaved roads inside the reserve. Please note that due to rainy conditions, driving times inside the reserve can be longer.

BY PLANE & HELICOPTER:
From Yopal, fly 30 minutes onboard a helicopter and land just a few minutes walking from the camp. Helicopter options include Eurocopter 136, Bell 206 L3 and Bell 412. Please note helicopters are subject to availability, and due to weight limitations luggage might be transported by car.

Breakfasts are served at leisure, with warm local breads and pastries, fresh juices, top Colombian coffee, a variety of teas, homemade jams made from exotic fruits, farm-raised eggs, and exquisite seasonal fruits. Lunches are light and healthy, served at the camp or on the go, depending on the activities of the day. Dinners are served on a communal table inside the Social Tent or by the bonfire, where guests can share their stories of the day. Guests also have the option of enjoying a private dinner and bonfire on their terrace. Throughout the day guests can nibble on snacks and local fruits, and every afternoon enjoy sundowners with premium wines and liquors from our bar.
