Sazagua stems from the concept of the boutique hotel; with the finest expression in design, detail, and exceptional service. Sazagua exists in the heart of Colombia’s coffee region, located in the Central Andes; this site is as an exquisite manifestation of the region’s hospitality and incomparable culinary arts. Sazagua, the name, pays homage to the Quimbaya civilization, an indigenous civilisation that inhabited this region during antiquity. With truly exceptional weather and beautiful natural surroundings, characteristic of the template coffee region landscape, Sazagua is a guesthouse for very special guests and visitors. The surroundings evoke the longstanding households from feudal times; wooden structures, spacious corridors, colonial flooring, Spanish tiles, lively colours, light and nature dominate the aesthetic.

The gardens bombard the senses with pleasure, with a beautiful collection of palms and tropical plants that attract a wide variety of birds from the region. At the end of this spectacular garden, one discovers a beautiful and unique spa, built from large river rocks.

The eclectic decoration consists of furnishings and artefacts from various time periods and different locations from around the globe, plus a selected art collection. All these decorative elements create a captivating environment of comfort, refinement, amicable service and a personal touch in every detail - allowing guests to submerse and indulge themselves in the contemporary and inventive cuisine

Culinary Arts:
The Sazagua Guest House is a truly gastronomical experience of its own kind. A workshop of creation for the senses, the cuisine in Sazagua is inventive and contemporary. It focuses on rescuing elements of regional cuisine and family recipes, which are then incorporated to international dishes, creating an exquisite and tantalizing menu. In constant evolution, each week a new dish is created.

With priority to our guests’ necessities, the Guest House Sazagua, has a junior suite specially created for executives that, for business reasons, visit the region; where they can combine a working experience with the tranquility and hospitality of Sazagua.
