2) HOW DO I GET AROUND BOGOTA ONCE I'M THERE?

By air from Bogota to the major destinations.

3) WHAT ARE THE MOST IMPORTANT PLACES TO VISIT ONCE THERE?

Bogota deserves 2 to 3 days to have time to visit the main sites and excellent museums and take day excursions.
After Bogota, the most important places to visit and average stay are:

4) WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO VISIT COLOMBIA?

Bogota is said to experience the four seasons in a single day: night is cold, morning cool, the day can be warm and the evenings autumn-like. Cartagena and San Andres are both tropical.

5) IS IT SAFE TO TRAVEL IN COLOMBIA?

As long as you stay in the normal tourist areas, the answer is basically "yes" but you should always follow normal precautions for travel.

6) WHAT ENTRY DOCUMENTS DO I NEED?

U.S. citizens need a valid passport and an entry form-tourist card which is provided by your air carrier either at the ticket counter when checking in for your flight to Colombia or once on-board. (NOTE: Other nationalities should check with the nearest Colombian Consulate to determine correct entry requirements.)

7) WHAT OTHER COUNTRIES CAN I VISIT AT THE SAME TIME?
