ITINERARY (Subject to change without notice):

Friday - Depart Miami: Evening departure on overnight flight to Chile.

Saturday - Arrive Santiago: Morning arrival in Santiago. Meeting by your English speaking host and transfer by private car to the Sheraton San Cristobal Towers for two night stay.

Sunday - Santiago: This morning your private car and guide will pick you up at the hotel for a visit to the main points of interest in Santiago including the Pre-Columbian Museum, a drive up Cerro San Cristobal for a bird's-eye panoramic view of the city and wine tasting at The Wine House. Afternoon at leisure to explore at your own pace. (B)

Monday - Santiago - Balmaceda - Patagonia Baker Lodge: Your private car, driver and guide will pick you up at your hotel and transfer you to the airport for your flight south along the Andes to Balmaceda where you will be met by the staff of Patagonia Baker Lodge for the final 165 miles south to the pristine area of the Rio Baker and the Patagonia Baker Lodge. During your stay you will enjoy two days of fishing with expert guides.

Tuesday - Patagonia Baker Lodge: Today you will enjoy fly fishing some of the special spots along the Rio Baker.  From it's headwaters in Lago General Carrera the Baker flows through a spectacular mountainous countryside. It is flanked on the north and south by the enormous Patagonian icefields and it's banks enshrouded by endemic forests, home to some of the most unique fauna in the world. The Baker, although turquoise-green from a distance, reveals on closer look crystalline waters. This area is considered to offer some of the best Rainbow Trout fly fishing in the world. (B/L/D)

Wednesday - Patagonia Baker Lodge: Another day of spectacular fly fishing amidst the beauty of crystal clear waters with backdrops of snow-capped mountains and ancient forests. (B/L/D)

Thursday - Patagonia Baler Lodge - Balmaceda - Puerto Montt - Puerto Varas: Morning return transfer by Patagonia Baker Lodge to the airport at Balmaceda for short flight north to Puerto Montt.  Upon arrival, meeting by your private car, driver and guide and transfer 20 minutes to the town of Puerto Varas overlooking Osorno Volcano and Lake Llanquihue. Overnight at the Cabanas del Lago with panoramic vistas of the lake and volcano. (B)

Friday - Puerto Varas - Peulla: Morning departure on scenic 2-day crossing of the Lake District, using a combination of motorcoaches and motorlaunches. Your private car, driver and guide will pick you for the little more than an hour's drive along the shores of Lake Llanquihue and through scenic countryside to Petrohue for a visit to the falls. Then on to your motorlaunch for cruise across Lake Todos Los Santos to Peulla for dinner and overnight at Hotel Peulla.  You'll have time in the afternoon to walk some of the trails available from the hotel or to arrange optional excursions with the hotel. Saturday - Peulla - Bariloche: This morning you will continue your scenic Lake District crossing first with a short but spectacular drive through the forest and over a mountain pass to border formalities and a short bus trip across to Puerto Blest, followed by a short bus transfer and another motorlaunch transfer. Arrive Punta Panuelo in late afternoon and pick-up by the Hotel Llao Llao for the five minute final transfer to the hotel. You will enjoy two nights at this fabulous hotel, with accommodations in Superior Lake View rooms. (B)

Sunday - Bariloche: At leisure to enjoy the facilities of the hotel - they have an outstanding spa and an 18 hole golf course. Or explore the area at your own pace. (B)

Monday - Bariloche - Arroyo Verde: This morning the staff from the Estancia Arroyo Verde will pick you up for the hour's drive south to the Estancia and another superlative fly fishing   experience.  You can begin this afternoon fly fishing along the Traful River, a typical mountain stream with pools and rapids. The water runs pure and crystal clear for m than ten miles run through Arroyo Verde. Parts of its riverside is lined with bushes and trees, making fly-casting more exciting and sometimes a rather challenging task.   Fishing the Traful is exclusively a catch and release fly-fishing river experience. Wednesday - Arroyo Verde: Yet another day of fly fishing in this spectacular and pristine area.  (BL/D)

Thursday - Arroyo Verde - Bariloche - Buenos Aires: This morning the staff at the Arroyo Verde will transfer you back to the airport at Bariloche for your flight across the Pampas to Buenos Aires.  Upon arrival, your private car and guide will be waiting to transfer you to the venerable Alvear Palace, featured on the Life of the Rich and Famous and located in fashionable Recoleta. Your accommodations will be in a Junior Suite.  Balance of the day to explore at your own pace. (B)

Friday - Buenos Aires: This morning your private car, driver and guide will call for you at your hotel to visit some of the main points of this sophisticated, European style city often called "The Paris of the Americas". Stop by the Plaza de Mayo with the Casa Rosada and the Cabildo, where the declaration of independence was signed, drive the widest avenue on earth, 9 de Julio and visit Caminito, the "little street" in the Italian barrio of La Boca. Explore San Telmo, the historic district of Buenos Aires where the mansions have become antique shops and drive through the well-to-do-suburbs of the city. This evening you'll enjoy dinner and tango music and dancing at one of the city's best tango houses, the Esquina Carlos Gardel. (B/L/D)

Saturday - Depart Buenos Aires: Day at leisure to explore this bustling city at your own pace. Your room is paid for late check-out so no need to hurry through the day. In the evening your private car and guide will transfer you to the airport to check-in for your departing flight.  (B)

Sunday - Arrive Miami: Morning arrival in Miami. Clear Immigrations and customs and continue to your home city.
