Las Hayas Resort Hotel is located below the glacier Le Martial, one and a half miles from downtown Ushuaia. A member of the Leading Small Hotels of the World, Las Hayas has 92 guest rooms divided into 4 categories:

50 standard single/double rooms each with hall, large bedroom, bathroom with tub and hand shower, WC, bidet, wall to wall marble vanity, hairdryer, minibar, TV, working desk with chair, table with two armchairs, in-room safe
32 Superior Junior Suites, larger than the standard rooms, with all the same amenities and in addition a larger lounge with a sofa and Queen Ann armchair
3 Deluxe Junior Suites, with all the same amenities as the Superior Junior Suites but with a compartmentalized bathroom and 100% linen towels imported from Portugal
7 Deluxe Suites, with bedroom and living room separate and all of the amenities of the Junior Suites in addition to whirlpool and towel bathrobe.

There are two restaurants, the gourmet Le Martial with excellent vistas to the Beagle Channel, and for breakfast and light meals, The Drake, which extends in a winter garden with natural vegetation and glass ceiling. There is a lobby lounge with various sitting areas, a warm fireplace, a library, small drugstore. There is a Health Club with complete gym, sauna, jacuzzi, and private massage parlor. There is also an indoor heated swimming pool with jet stream, and Squash Court.

On the premises of the hotel you can hike forest paths, and nearby you can do cross country skiing, horseback riding and fly-cast fishing.
