Located in the historic Pelourinho district of Salvador Bahia, designated by UNESCO a Cultural Patrimony of Mankind, and dating from 1586, it was originally a Convent for the Sisters of Carmelita. Through the years it has been the stage for many historical events.

  The Pousada Convento do Carmo has 79 luxuriously appointed rooms and suites.
