The Copacabana Palace has 222 rooms and suites in total, 147 are found in the Main Building, of which 71 are suites and 76 are bedrooms.

Each of them are individually designed with fine period furniture and original works of art, giving a elegant yet relaxed ambiance. Views are either of the world-famous Copacabana beach, or towards the city.

Opened in late 2007, the Copacabana Palace Spa has fast established a reputation as one of the best spas in Rio de Janeiro.  

This sophisticated urban sanctuary has a contemporary design and features seven treatment rooms, two dual treatment suites, a fitness room, hair salon, sauna, steam bath and relaxation area.   

There is an extensive treatment menu featuring treatments from Shiseido, Decleor and Natura.  In addition Copacabana Palace Signature Treatments are exclusively available.

The Copacabana Palace Spa also offers Spa Cuisine with an menu developed by Francesco Carli, the internationally renowned Chef of the Hotel Cipriani Restaurant.

The magnificent swimming pool at the Copacabana Palace is without a doubt the finest swimming pool in Rio and has long drawn stars and royalty alike to sunbathe, swim and socialise.  Everyone from Carmen Miranda to Rod Stewart has been seen soaking up the sun around the Copacabana pool.  

Stylish sun loungers surround the pool, the perfect location for basking in the tropical sunshine or relaxing in the shade of the sun umbrellas.

A team of pool assistants is on hand to cater to your every request, from fresh towels to cool drinks and dishes from the Pool Menu which is available all day.

Wireless connection is available by the Pool area.

BEACH SERVICE:

The Copacabana Palace offers a beach service exclusively for guests of the hotel.  A station is located on the beach directly in front of the hotel providing sun loungers and sun umbrellas. 

Our Beach Assistants also offer a security service for your belongings should you wish to take a dip in the ocean, or to walk along the beach.  Simply ensure the team is aware you are leaving and they will take care of your possessions.

This service is offered throughout the year at no additional charge.  Fresh fruit and water is also available for hotel guests.

THE FITNESS CENTRE:

 Located in the brand new Copacabana Palace Spa, the Fitness Centre is fully air-conditioned and boasts the latest fitness equipment, offering a variety of cardiovascular and resistance exercise options.   The Fitness Centre is open every day between 07:00 and 22:00.

If you prefer to have company while you work out, take part in a stretching session on the beach or book a consultation with one of our personal trainers who can advise you on your fitness needs.
