Tierra Patagonia Hotel & Spa is a casual but luxurious design hotel with 40 guest rooms. The hotel ambiance is Patagonian, one that radiates warmth, safety and togetherness; all things desired by those who've spent their day in the Patagonian outdoors.

The hotel sits on a bluff where the vast pampas meet Lake Sarmiento, and enjoys a magnificent view of Torres del Paine peaks on the other side of the lake. The photo at the bottom of the page is of Lake Sarmiento and our beach and view.

Much consideration and care was given so that Tierra Patagonia's architecture would complement the patterns, flow and geology of its priviledged location.  The essence of the interior decoration is authentically Patagonian, with hand-crafted furnishings and details using natural materials from the region and the highest quality workmanship.

Tierra's hotel and spa facilities include living room, bar, guides´ presentation room, TV room and dining room. There is wireless in the public areas. 

The Uma Spa is within the hotel and features an indoor swimming pool with jets and cascades, an outdoor Jacuzzi, sauna, steambath, locker rooms and meditation areas. Our Spa professionals offer many types of massages and facials using local stones and elements. 

The hotel offers all-inclusive packages that include your stay, all meals, bar, guided excursions, use of Uma Spa facilities and transfers to and from the local airports.  Our excellent, friendly staff is primarily hired locally and from within Chile.

There are a total of 40 rooms, all with beautiful views across Lake Sarmiento to the peaks of Torres del Paine National Park.

FOOD & WINE
Tierra’s Chef uses local seafood from the Straits of Magellan, lamb and beef from the neighboring ranches, and local Calafate berries to prepare healthy, delicious meals.  The weekly Patagonian “asado” or barbecue features the slow-cooking of a lamb over coals.  These asados were a highpoint in the lives of early settlers and remain so for the local people today. Guests will enjoy our extensive menu of Chilean wines, Patagonian hot whisky drinks or classic Chilean pisco sours.

The dining area is casually elegant with handsome wooden tables and chairs and fine tabletop service, linens and glassware.  While most guests will choose a private table, our dining space is made dramatic not only by the magnificent view of the lake and mountains, but also by its iconic long red table.   This very long table is painted the same red as the entrance gates to the ranches in the area, and lends much personality to our ambiance, both for its charming color and for the joy and laughter of the people sitting around it.

LOCATION
It is a one hour drive from Puerto Natales airport and a 4 hour drive from Punta Arenas airport.  The hotel is a 15 minute drive from the Sarmiento entrance to Torres del Paine National
