Raised on wooden stilts and resembling a bird
with outstretched wings, Baiazinha Lodge stands at the edge of a small cove of permanent
wetland, facing a tree-covered islet. The islet serves as a dormitory for Wood Storks,
Roseate Spoonbills, Egrets, Cormorants, Ibis and many other birds. The lodge has only 6 rooms, each with private bathrooms and terraces. There is an ample sized living room with large porch, restaurant serving home-style food, an observation tower and a swimming pool. The lodge is air-conditioned. |
