ABOUT LA PERLA BOUTIQUE HOTEL   - in their own words:

León , also known as the University City, is the home of Hotel La Perla.The Hotel was designed and built by José María Ibarra, a classically trained 18th century architect. Ibarra also designed the central park of León.

La Perla is located 50 miles northwest of the capital Managua and only 11 miles from the Pacific coast. The Hotel La Perla is the finest examples of the neoclassical style of architecture that exists in Nicaragua.

The central courtyard, typical of colonial construction, is dominated by the fountains with magnificent marble lions hand carved especially for the Hotel.

We have worked along with representatives from the office of Patrimonio Nacional and the City of León, and using local artisans, to remodel the home with great attention to the original design, materials and colors.

ACCOMMODATIONS: La Perla Hotel offers 15 rooms, 5 poolside and 10 on the upper level with vistas of the city and our central courtyard. EVERY ROOM HAS: Air Conditioning Over sized beds Minibar Luxury bathrooms Cable TV Wireless Internet Phone Ceiling Fans "In room safe"

THE BAR "EL CANAL":
"El Canal" Bar, has being decorated with images of the original maps of the Interoceanic Canal, that was originally proposed in Nicaragua. There you can enjoy delicious cocktails while having a good time with your friends or enjoying all major sporting events on the 2 large plasma TVs.

THE RESTAURANT:
Our restaurant offers varied dishes of international calibre. The Terrace Restaurant is set in a beautiful environment. We offer a large selection of Argentinian, Chilean, Spanish and French wines set in their cava to be served at a desirable temperature.   Breakfast is served in our Garden Terrace.
