Hotel El Convento is located two blocks from the Cathedral and Central Park, and is connected to the historical San Francisco church. It has undergone a complete restoration from the ground-up of the 17th century Convent of San Francisco.

The Hotel El Convento has 31 quality rooms around a gorgeous traditional interior garden. Each room has cable TV, interNet conenction, DDI phone and A/C.

The hotel is decorated with antiques made in Nicaragua and Peru (made from imported Nicaraguan wood).

There are two restaurants both with view of the garden and features homemade ice cream from Nicaragua's tropical fruits.
