The Hotel das Cataratas is located in the centre of the Iguaçu National Park, surrounded by tropical nature alongside the famous Iguaçu Falls. This charming 203 bedroom colonial-style hotel, the only hotel inside the Brazilian National Park, is a unique spot for those wishing to experience the magnificent spectacle of the Iguaçu Falls.

Standard Rooms:
The hotel has 85 standard rooms. These comfortable rooms measure approximately 22 square metres and have either one double or two twin beds. Standard rooms have views of the Iguaçu National Park

Superior Room:
The hotel has 64 superior rooms. These rooms measure approximately 24 square metres. The majority of these rooms have hardwood floors and feature either one queen size bed or two twin beds. Superior rooms have views over the lush tropical gardens or surrounding rainforest.

Deluxe Rooms:
There are 49 deluxe rooms measuring approximately 29 square metres. The majority of the rooms are located in Wing 1 with some in the Main House.  Deluxe rooms feature either one queen size bed or two twin beds. These comfortable rooms are characterised by beautiful hardwood floors with large bathtubs, ideal for relaxing after a day walking through the National Park. Deluxe rooms have views of the lush tropical gardens or surrounding forest.

Cataratas Suite:
Cataratas suites feature a living room and two bedrooms and measure 95 square metres.   Located on the first floor of the Main Building these suites have partial views of the Iguaçu Falls. These suites also have internet conenction and a bathroom with hydro massage.

Restaurants & Bars
  • Ipê Bar & Grill:
    Located adjacent to the pool the Ipê Bar & Grill offers a delicious selection of light snacks and refreshments throughout the day. In the evenings the restaurant comes alive. Live music is played and the restaurant transforms into a 'gaucho' style barbecue. An extensive cold salad buffet is also laid out.
  • Restaurant Itaipu:
    The Restaurant Itaipu serves a selection of International dishes and local Brazilian specialities.  Located on the ground floor of the hotel the restaurant offers a relaxed environment for dining. Take a seat inside the restaurant or request a table on the restaurant veranda and enjoy your meal overlooking the verdant hotel grounds.
  • Bar Tarobá:
    Throughout the day drinks and snacks are served in the Bar Tarobá. The piano bar is a great place to start your evening, meet your travelling companions for drinks before dinner and watch the sunset from the bar veranda with a cooling cocktail in hand. Later in the evening, sit back and relax to sound of live musical entertainment, played every evening between 20.00 and 23.00.
