ABOUT THE JUNGLE LODGE TIKAL - in their own words:

The Jungle Lodge Hotel (Posada de la Selva) is located a few kilometers from the central plaza of Tikal, in the midst of the luscious humid tropical forest of Peten. It is located in the heart of the Tikal National Park. The park, which has an area of 575.83 km2, was created in 1955 and declared world heritage in 1976.

ACCOMMODATIONS:

• 2 junior suites: include one king size bed, a double size sofa bed, a ceiling fan, and private bathroom with tub and shower with hot and cold water.
• 36 bungalows: Each one of our bungalows has two comfortable double beds, a ceiling fan, and private bathroom with hot and cold water.
• 12 rooms with shared bathrooms: These rooms are for our clients who are looking for a combination of economy and quality. Our rooms with shared bathrooms have one double bed or two single beds, a ceiling fan, and a shared bathroom with hot and cold water.

Gardens and walking trails:
The hotel’s gardens offer the tourists a spectacular environment with its varied flora and fauna. Among the animal species that can be found in the gardens are coati, wildcat, parrots, macaws, spider monkey, howler monkey, crested guan, golden oriole, ocellated turkey, etc.
