The hotel is located 20 minutes drive from Puerto Ayora and 40 minutes from
Baltra Airport. There are daily flights from Quito and Guayaquil airports and
transfers to Baltra airport by TAME Airlines takes aproximately 1,5 to 2 hours. The
hotel has its own private VIP lounge at the Itabaca Canal, from there a 20 minute trip by

THE HOTEL - in their own words: Opened in February 2002, the Royal Palm
Resort is the first five star luxury hotel located off the coast of Ecuador on the island
of Santa Crus in the Galapagos Islands. A 500-acre resort surrounded by lush tropical
forests, it offers two restaurants, a swimming pool, health club with full service spa,
tennis courts and a business center with meeting facilities. |

Four veranda studios: (Room
size - 38 m2.- 408 sq ft) Each has a spacious bedroom with either a king-size bed or two
queens, dining area, en-suite bathroom and indoor Jacuzzi and a front porch with hammock
facing a small garden. Presidential Suite: (Room size - 60 m2 - 645 sq ft) .The suite is a self-contained, open-plan villa. The bedroom area is spacious with a king size, four-posted bed and dressing area. There's a lounge and dining area with a fireplace and a private garden with an outdoor Jacuzzi. Royal Suite: (Room size - 78 m2 - 839 sq ft) This is an exclusive villa with an indoor sauna and outdoor Jacuzzi in its own private garden as well as a large open living room and dining area with fireplace. The bedroom has a king-size, four-posted bed and a dressing area. Imperial Suite (Room size - 90 m2 I 968 sq ft.) (This luxurious private villa has two very spacious, en suite bedrooms - one with a King size and the other with two Queen size beds. Both rooms have an outdoor Jacuzzi and share a living and dining room and a front garden and terrace. The master bedroom has its own sauna. The suite also features a dressing area, a fireplace in the living room and a roof-top terrace.
