El Rosario de Areco” is a very old Estancia from the XIXth. Century. The owners belong to very old families of conquerors, patriots and pioneers and they live there. The main house was builded in 1892 in a typical colonial style. The place is all remodeled and preserved with very comfortable sixteen suites.
The last seven years they open the Estancia for guests and they are still breeding and training Polo ponies with there sons.

Activities in the farm includes swimming, horse ridding, horse carriages rides around the Estancia, birdwatching, rest & relaxing naps, golf & tennis (5 miles), poloweek (full board) and also visits to San Antonio de Areco Town , itīs museums, the old church, silversmiths and other artesans.

Estancia "El Rosario de Areco" offer you sixteen very comfortable suites (each with ceiling fan and private bathroom), a living room, fresh verandahs and a big swimming pool all good for your relax.

The gastronomy Estanciaīs has, is so fresh as the milk just milked and granny's deserts. And you will have opportunity of enjoying the best Argentinean beef and excellent barbecues, many different salads, pasta and delicious cakes and home made deserts. All prepared by our Chef. We have our own winery with the best Argentinean wines.

Polo is "Argentina". In this noble sport our country has been unbeaten for more than seventy years.
Our horses, players and Polo fields are famous all over the world.

El Rosario is an Estancia dedicated specially to the breeding and training of Polo horses. It has its own team and participates in local and national tournaments.

"El Rosario" is a Polo Club inscripted in the Argentine Polo Association. You can have the opportunity of taking personal Polo lessons (includes horses, saddles, grooms). That makes the learning enjoyable and perfect. If you are not interested in taking Polo lessons, you could ask for an exhibition match.
