BUNGALOWS:
Our bungalows or "Muyus" are circles in the sun, with light yellow walls, red-tiled roofs, and flower-rimmed verandahs. All bungalows are constructed with adobe, wood, stone and clay, typical building materials for this region. We used eucalyptus and nogal from the woods and forests surrounding the Sacred Valley and stones that rolled down the mountains near the hotel. These bungalows are literally made from elements of the earth in the Valley. Interiors are also decorated to reflect the Andean setting, with ceramic tiled floors, high "sombrero chino" ceilings with wooden beams, decorative bands of stone work, and assorted curios and detail work made by local artisans who were used in all aspects of the construction.  The bungalows are set within a Garden of local and international plants and flowers which are a profusion of color year-around.

*A Bungalow Triple and a Family Bungalow is a two-floor bungalows with a King-size bed on the first floor and two double beds on the second floor.

**A Suite is a two-floor bungalow with a King-sized bed on the first floor and a living room on the second floor. It also includes a TV and DVD player.

We have crafted the bungalows to radiate the tranquility and warmth of the Sacred Valley, and to be in harmony with all the elements around them: mountain, trees, earth. We invite you to experience these

Spa Yuca Wasi "House of Water"

URU Sol y Luna spa vu.jpg (66200 bytes)

Our spa, Yacu Wasi means House of Water in Quechua. Like the streams and lakes that nourish this Sacred Valley, the Spa is a place that nourishes the body and helps to bring it into harmony with itself and the surroundings.

Yacu Wasi is located in the Sol & Luna garden, with a green lawn on one side and colorful flowers and trees on another side. The interior features wooden beams, marble floors and colorful stained glass windows with Sun and Moon designs. Aromas of Eucalyptus and Nogal combined with rainbow prisms of light create a tranquil ambience that both stimulates and soothes the senses.

The spa contains a fully-equipped gym, sauna, steamroom, Jacuzzi, and Spanish bath. We offer a wide selection of spa therapies: facials, wraps, masques, body shaping treatments, along with newer treatments such as Music Therapy, Hydrotherapy and energy therapies such as Reiki. Massages include traditional Swedish massage, Shiatsu, Aromatherapy and Reflexology massages as well as Capillary massages and Manual Lymphatic Drainage massages. Classes or personal sessions in yoga and tai chi are also available.

We are currently developing a line of creams, soaps and oils from exotic jungle fruits such as maracuya (passionfruit), guanavana (custard apple), lucuma, granadilla, aguaymanto, sauco, tumbo and many more. Ask at Reception for more details about this line.

The Spa is a perfect place to relax after your adventures in the valley –a place to enrich your body and mind, a place to let your consciousness expand, and a place to experience the age-old holistic energies of the Sacred Valley of the Incas.
