Urubamba Valley: Posada del Inka Yucay

Probably the most popular of all the hotels in the Sacred Valley is the Posada del Inca Yucay. Originally a small hotel designed within a 300-year old monastery, it has grown beyond that today and now has a total of 84 rooms. There are still accommodations around the courtyard and the original bar opens onto the courtyard as well.

Today the hotel is like a village unto itself with multiple buildings situated around plazas and among gardens. There are several buildings housing accommodations. All rooms are large, with small heaters and plenty of hot water in the bathroom. Some overlook courtyards, some overlook gardens.
