MANUEL ANTONIO NATIONAL PARK
No trip to Costa Ricas mid-Pacific region is complete without a
visit to Manuel Antonio. It may be small in size - but its immense in beauty and
diversity. Manuel Antonio is one of the most popular parks in Costa Rica, and often is
referred to as the Jewel of the National Park System.
Knowledgeable, professional guides will help you experience the forest through the eyes of
an expert naturalist, bringing to life the estuary, mangroves, lagoon, and rainforest as
you amble through the park. If you walk quietly, you might see playful white-faced
monkeys, curious squirrel monkeys, slots, anteaters and porcupines along with hundreds of
species of birds.
The vegetation is impressive, as well, and includes everything that makes a tropical
forest brim with life: mosses, ferns, flowers and epiphytes growing thickly on every tree.
One trail leads you to an observation tower with a breathtaking 360° view. And of course,
there are the beaches. There are several excellent beaches for swimming, snorkeling, body
surfing and relaxing. Mid-tour, you can choose to remain in the park or be transferred
back to the hotel. Although once you see these paradisiacal beaches, youll want to
stay forever.

CANOPY TOUR
Trip offers the excitement of exploring the tropical canopy through a
series of suspension platforms, which are situated high above the forest floor. These
platforms are connected by steel cables, that have been specially-designed for people to
slide across, allowing you to discover the flora and fauna of the tropical forest first
hand.

DOLPHIN WATCH TOUR

WHITEWATER RAFTING AT SAVEGRE
RIVER (CLASS II, III &IV)
A full day of adventure awaits for you! Beginning with an incredible
four-wheel-drive journey into the heart of the Rio Savegres remote backcountry.
Here, you will begin a guided 4-hour white-water rafting trip with class II / III / IV
rapids. Youll either be in 6-person rafts or 2-person inflatable kayaks as you
alternate between adrenaline-pumping rapids and tranquil stretches where you can absorb
the intense beauty of the region. Youll descend from the mountains and head towards
the Pacific in this exciting journey. Along the way there are great swimming holes and a
large variety of birds and (egrets, toucans, osprey, parrots, kingfishers, cormorants) and
thousands of acres of primary jungle. We will stop at a beautiful waterfall for some
snacks, and lunch will be served at the Eco-tourism Lodge Coope Silencio at the end of the
trip.

WHITEWATER RAFTING AT NARANJO
RIVER (CLASS III & IV)
This is an exhilarating Class III / IV half-day challenge for more
experienced paddlers. The Naranjo drops steeply from the mountains above Quepos, slicing
through a beautiful jungle gorge. Youll be taken on a wild ride to sea level while
passing nearby farmlands and palm plantations. Water levels can rise quickly on this
river, upping the difficulty and adrenaline levels, so rafters should be physically fit
and adventurous.

DAMAS ISLAND KAYAK
Paddle through protected inland waterways, which are the perfect place to
learn the ropes for this magical way of exploring coastal mangrove areas and seeing
wildlife up close. This trip does not take place in the open sea, and the pace is
according to your abilities. Lunch is some great local seafood at an excellent restaurant.

DAMAS ISLAND KAYAK AT NIGHT
We develop a new experience, very interesting for those visitors, a new
option! It is to paddle Damas Island estuary at night, easy for every one, with our
company and our specialized equipment that is not going to affect or change the mangrove
ecosystem. We are going to observe and great variety of animals that lives here and in
whish cases its habitat is nocturnal; in a fresh and relaxing ambience.

DAMAS ISLAND MANGROVE
Dont miss Isla Damas and its wonderful wildlife just because you
dont want to kayak. Treat yourself to a boat tour by touring the estuary with a
guide. There is great birding and wonderful vistas in these mangrove canals, and
youll feel like youre in the middle of the jungle - without getting your feet
wet. Youll also stop at the island to enjoy a wonderful walk on the beach. Then
enjoy a great local-style lunch or dinner. This tour provides an excellent chance to see
animals and birds, such as caimans, slots, crocodiles, boas, white-faced monkeys, egrets,
and much more.

HORSEBACK RIDING AT NAUYACA
WATERFALLS
Come with us to see the most beautiful waterfalls in the country! Two
falls plunge 25 & 40 meters (78 and 132 feet) into an 8-meter (25-feet) deep pool,
which is excellent for swimming in a paradise-like setting. The horseback tour offers you
even more contact with nature and a better chance of seeing wildlife. Well take you
through the beautiful countryside between Quepos and Dominical, and then through a
majestic forest with wonderful vistas of the dramatic mountains of San Isidro. During the
tour we will make two stops, first for breakfast in a traditional working ranch, and then
later in the afternoon we will return to the ranch for lunch with a real Costa Rican
family. At the waterfalls you will have a chance to take pictures of your guide leaping
from the falls into the pool. Here again, there will be lots of opportunities to spot many
other kinds of wildlife.

SPORT FISHING
Quepos is one of the most important sportfishing destinations in Costa
Rica as well as one of the major fishing areas in all of Central America. A fully licensed
sportfishing charter company in fly and conventional fishing to Catch and Release waits
for you to adventure in the magic sea world!
The Pacific's best offshore fishing, including all types of Billfish, Dorado (Mahi-Mahi),
Yellowfin Tuna and Marlin are just an hour from our port, while the nearby inshore waters
are home to a plentiful supply of Roosterfish, Mackeral, Red Snapper, Wahoo and Snook.

thrill of traveling on your own ATV into the mountains outside of Quepos. Where you will
enjoy the spectacular mountain views, and the tropical rainforest as your bilingual guide
leads you through rustic unpaved roads, giant African Palm Plantations, cattle farms, and
typical towns such as Naranjito and Londres. We will then take you to a breathtaking
waterfall where you will have a chance to cool off in the refreshing crystal- clear water,
then continue riding up and down the winding mountain roads, all the while surrounded by
the lush and beautiful tropical foliage.
