ABOUT HOTEL PARADOR - in their own words:
Parador Resort & Spa is perched high above the sweeping Pacific coastline on Punta Quepos, Costa Rica and boasts panoramic ocean views on 12 acres of wildlife-rich tropical rainforest. Luxurious yet eco-conscious, Parador has earned multiple awards including Costa Rica’s Leading Resort 2010 (World Travel Awards) and also the 5-Leaf Sustainability Award issued by the Costa Rican Tourism Board (ICT).

Set on lush grounds surrounded by expansive jungle, Parador features well-appointed rooms and suites, several restaurants featuring diverse menus, multiple bars and lounges, a world-class spa, tennis court, three ocean-view pools and generous meeting facilities. The resort is located in Manuel Antonio, a beach and adventure hot spot known for its famed National Park.

GETTING HERE:
Parador Resort & Spa is located on the Central Pacific coast of Costa Rica, in Manuel Antonio near the town of Quepos.  The property is easily accessible from the capital of San Jose by air or road. A 20-minute domestic flight is most convenient, but many guests enjoy the 2 ½ hour Scenic Mountain and coastal drive. Both Nature Air and Sansa offer direct flights to Quepos.

FACILITIES:
The question isn’t which facilities do exist at Parador Resort & Spa, but rather what amenities are NOT available to indulge your every need and whim! Here at Hotel Parador we are proud to provide you with first-class service and unparalleled opportunities to manifest your dream vacation in a relaxed and scenically splendid luxury environment.

Swimming & Sunbathing:
For swimming or poolside sunning, you have three glorious onsite options, all overlooking the gleaming turquoise Pacific: choose from our beautiful centrally-located infinity family pool with swim-up bar and terrace restaurant, our secluded adult-only pool with cascade which sits adjacent to Pacifica Spa, or the infinity pool with dramatic waterfall and Jacuzzi regally perched at the Parador Suites building.

Dining & Drinking:
Skirting the resort’s picturesque family swimming area are three restaurants for indoor or outdoor dining with a fourth restaurant for casual fresh fare located poolside at Parador Suites. Several lounges and bars provide great meeting places for happy hour or after dinner socializing.

  • A pianist accompanies fine dining at La Galeria, an elegant sea-view restaurant overlooking the hotel’s lush gardens and pool area.  A diverse menu spotlights the tropical flavors of local cuisine alongside Mediterranean-inspired dishes. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. An extensive breakfast buffet is included in room rates.

  • Relax with a before or after dinner cocktail at La Galeria’s bar, Don Juan, a cozy European-style piano lounge with outdoor seating available on the surrounding terrace.

  • For casual evening dining in a relaxed atmosphere, El Quijote serves an inspired Latin-fusion menu made with the freshest ingredients.

  • La Reina is an elegant medieval-styled private dining room where a personal server can accommodate your every need. Flickering candles within offset the glimmering stars outside, providing a dreamy venue for a romantic tryst or intimate gathering.

  • Located at the property’s zenith in Parador Suites, La Fragata Restaurant & Tapas Bar serves a tantalizing selection of the freshest fare and tastiest cocktails in a casual environment highlighted by an ocean vista and cool sea breezes.  The menu focuses on healthy and light dining options.   Pool bar service available all day. Stunning sunset views make this a great choice for early evening cocktails.

  • A light lunch menu and sushi is served on the terrace at El Galeon, while a swim-up bar will satiate thirst without ever having to hit dry land! Guests can indulge in a decadent tropical cocktail or a chilled local beer while gazing at the spectacular ocean vista.

  • Sushi fashioned from organically grown produce and the freshest local seafood is served up daily alongside other Japanese specialties at Sushi Fune.

  • Enjoy a game of pool or an after-dinner drink and cigar at Sancho Panza Bar, adjacent to El Quijote restaurant.
