ABOUT EL ESTABLO - in their own words:
El Establo is a Quaker / Costa Rican family
own Lodge with 80 comfortable standard rooms (Queen beds) and brand new Junior Suites
(Queen beds) & superb Master Suite (King beds), large living rooms, a solar
heated pool (the only one in Monteverde) & Jacuzzi, a lake & private cloud forest
trails, a basket ball & volley ball court, and best of all, a great restaurant.
Hotel El Establo is located in the heart of the conservation area of Monteverde Costa
Rica, 7 kms from the Santa Elena Rain Forest and 4 kms from the Monteverde Cloud Forest,
just a few minutes away by taxi. Within walking distance of the Butterfly Garden & the
Ecological Farm.
Traditional Quaker friendship awaits you in our hotel set in a private 150 acres farm (50%
protected primary forest) adjacent to the Monteverde Reserve.
Our family Restaurant offers full tasty breakfast with 5 kinds of fruits, as well as lunch
& dining in a friendly atmosphere.
El Establo facilities include a restaurant, TV room, conference room, and more, all under
one roof. This allows easy movement within the complex, even when it's raining. The
Hotel's locations allows an excellent access of our guests to various different tours and
entertainment.

Master Suite: 2 floors, private balcony with great views of the sunset on the Gulf of Nicoya (Pacific), big private bathroom with bathtub + shower, hair dryer, phone, satellite TV, carpeting, closet, desk, chairs, rocking chairs. They are huge. Hotel has a pool & restaurant. Rates includes full breakfast. First floor with two queen beds (we can add an extra single bed on request), the bathroom and balcony. On the second floor, the mezzanine, there is one king size bed. * Rooms of 80 m2 (860 square feet) |
