Arenas del Mar is a beach and nature resort located next to Manuel Antonio National Park on the Pacific coast of Costa Rica. “Unique and spectacular beach and nature experiences combined with highest levels of comfort and sustainability in a local Costa Rican setting” define the concept of Arenas del Mar.

The resort caters to tourists that are looking for more than just another high end resort experience. Arenas del mar offers a luxurious lodging experience in harmony with nature in a spectacular beach and rainforest setting. Guest rooms, apartments and suites offer spectacular ocean views, upscale dining in two hotel restaurants with a focus on fresh local products and personalized service that exceeds guest expectations.

It has 38 upscale rooms and suites, offering a casual beach front café and an elegant dining facility with spectacular views of the National Park as well as two swimming pools, a small Spa and a gift shop. The hotel is set in 11 acres of nature, a property with private nature trails which includes a hanging bridge and access to two beautiful sand beaches.

ACCOMMODATIONS:
Arenas del Mar Beach and Nature Resort has 38 guest rooms including 16 apartments with ocean or beach view and 2 suites with rainforest view. The rooms are designed to offer maximum comfort while taking into consideration the surrounding environment. The buildings housing the guest rooms were altered to fit around existing trees, water is heated with solar panels and grey water is reused for irrigation. The great advantage of the guest rooms at Arenas del Mar is that they are located on the beach with private beach access and facilities.

Ocean View Apartments
The Ocean View Apartments at Arenas del Mar are the most luxurious and unique lodging option on Costa Rica’s Central Pacific Coast. More than 1650 square feet (150 square meters) of living space offering spectacular Ocean and rainforest views. All apartments offer two air-conditioned bedrooms with one king size bed each, very spacious decks or terraces as well as a large living area with ceiling fans, with a full size pull-out sofa, kitchenette and three full bathrooms. The private bathtub on the deck of the apartment is the perfect spot to relax and observe spectacular Pacific sunsets. The Ocean View Apartments feature cable TV, high speed Internet, mini-bar, safe deposit box, coffee maker, microwave and iron. The apartments can host up to 5 people comfortably.   The Ocean View Apartments can be subdivided into one bedroom Ocean View Suite and Superior Room.

Ocean View Suites
The Ocean View Suites have one air-conditioned bedroom with a king size bed, very spacious decks or terraces as well as a large living area with ceiling fans, with a full size pull-out sofa, kitchenette and two full bathrooms. The private bathtub on the deck of the apartment is the perfect spot to relax and observe spectacular Pacific sunsets. The Ocean View Suites feature cable TV, high speed Internet, mini-bar, safe deposit box, coffee maker, microwave and iron. The Ocean View Suites can host up to 3 people maximum.

Ocean View Superior Rooms
The Superior Rooms are air conditioned and each have one king size bed, they feature spacious decks or terraces with a wet bar as well as cable TV, high speed Internet, mini-bar, safe deposit box, coffee maker, microwave and iron. These rooms host up to 2 people maximum.
Rainforest View Suites

Rainforest View Suites
The Rainforest View Suites at Arenas del Mar are spacious one bedroom suites with a king size bed and with a living area. All suites are fully air-conditioned and feature one bathroom with jacuzzi, cable TV, high speed Internet, mini-bar, safe deposit box, coffee maker, microwave, iron. The Rainforest view suites can host up to 3 people maximum.

Guest Rooms
The Guest Rooms at Arenas del Mar are set in seven three story buildings that are located overlooking the Manuel Antonio National Park, the Pacific Ocean, the private beach or rainforest plants and trees. The Guest Rooms are equipped with king size beds, spacious bathrooms, closet space, cable TV, mini-bar and large private decks with breathtaking views.

DINING:
Arenas del Mar features two restaurants located next to the two pools of the hotel. One is the formal restaurant El Mirador serving breakfast, lunch and dinner overlooking the Manuel Antonio National Park. The concept is fusion combining the great variety of vegetables, fruits, sea foods and meats with international spices and touches.

The other restaurant Playita is more informal and serves lunch and snacks next to the resort's private beach. The focus is on simple foods that are kicked up a notch such as wraps and cold sandwiches with typical Costa Rican flavors with a twist.
