La Pascuala Delta Lodge is located in Arroyo Las Cañas, a small stream at the Islands 2nd Section of Paraná River Delta's. This area, unlike 1st Section of Islands, is characterized for nature kept in semi-wild condition and scarce population.  The Lodge property takes both banks on aprox. 1 mile of Arroyo Las Cañas for which privacy and tranquility are equally guaranteed.

15 individual Bungalow-Suites arelinked to main buildings through wooden passageways and bridges. Overlooking either the stream or the ponds, private decks furnished with sun loungers, hand showers and african style mosquito screen-courtains, complete the bungalows. CD players, Tea & Coffee sets. Dressing area and spacious bathrooms with plenty of natural light and incredible views. Bathtubs with reading light and separate shower cabinet.

WEATHER
Delta’s latitude and River Plate’s influence make it rather mild most of the year. Extreme temperatures take place just a few days either in winter or in summer. Surrounding water courses moderate temperatures. Winter (May/August): Day Min. expected temperature: 45 to 55 ºF. Summer (November/March): Day Max. expected temperature: 75 to 85 ºF.

ETIQUETTE
Safari look outwear is best during the day.  Casual clothing is appropiate during the night. A good jacket will always be useful.

• PEDAL BOATS: With bimini top, adjustable seats and ice-box, these boats are the best to explore the area’s semi-virgin water courses, swim, fish and enjoy nature.  Previous experience not required.
• KAYACS: For “exercise fans” the Lodge offers an updated version of lightweight and fast kayacs.  If you don’t acquire experience with this type of boat it is possible to obtain an instructor (*) who besides introducing you to this sport with reliable security, will be an excellent guide capable to explain everything connected with humedal (**), its flora and wildlife.    (*) See: MOTORBOATING & SIGHTSEEING Section.   (**) Humedal: Ecosystem of these alluvial islands which flood because of tide differential levels.
• TREKKING: Paths opened in the forest as well as boots and rain gear are always available in order to explore the inner territory of the island. Exotic bird and other wildlife watching is frequent and simple.
• SWIMMING: In addition to the Pool with its two Jacuzzis, it is possible to swim in the stream. For safety reasons you should stay close to any of the banks and always start your swimming against the flow.
• TABLE GAMES: The Library includes several games such as backgammon boards, cards, dice, scrable, boggle, etc.  Card tables are available near the Bar.
• FISHING: All year around it’s easy to catch cackerel, carp and tarariras from The Wharf. Fishing tackle and bait is available at the Lodge.

• WATER SPORTS: From the Lodge you can practice or learn water-ski, wakeboard, sail navigation, windsurf, etc. At your request our office will make the necessary arrangements with the instructor.
• OFFSHORE FISHING: Good fishing areas can be find both at River Plate and the Uruguay river. Pejerrey in cold weather and Dorado through the summer make an interesting catch for “the expert” and delicious for the grill.  Rental of fishing boats with Pro-guides is possible from the Lodge.   If desired, our staff will be pleased to cook your “catch of the day”.
• MOTORBOATING & SIGHTSEEING: Delta is a limitless source of untouched nature and exotic primitive spots. Motor, sail or speed boats can be rented for different areas. Pro-Guides can be contacted for kayac safaris, bird watching, etc.
