ABOUT POUSADA ESTRELA D'AGUA - in their own words:
The Inn:
Located at Nativos Beach in an area of 23,000 m2 covered by pomp trees, with a perfect view. The pousada has been opened since 1998 by Beth Gavioli, inspirec by the beacuty of it's natural surroundings. Comfort, tranquility, welcoming, with V.I.P. treatment, is the best that we have to offer to all our guests.In the small village of Trancoso, where its natural resources has not been damaged since the village was founded, the Inn is one of the most pleasant places in Bahia, considered by The Hotel Book - Great Scapes South America, by Vogue and Viagem & Turismo magazines, and the best beach pousada in Brasil by Ricardo Freire. Recently, we got nominated as the newest member of Relais & Chateaux, the French Association that brings together the best hotels and restaurants in the world and the fC' (courtesy, charm, character, calm and cuisine). We are also associated to the hotel group Roteiros e Charme and to Conde Nast Johansens.
Accommodations: (total of 28 rooms)
- Master Suite (8) - From 120 m2, carefully decorated. These suites offer home theater with cable TV, air conditiioning split, frigobar, safe, telehone, patio with hammock, with views to the garden, private pools and Hidro Spa.
- Double Suites (20) - with great taste and comfort with 50m2, options of a queen size bed or a single bed. These suites come with cable TV, veranda, all with view to the beautiful garden.
Facilities:
- Pool - located in front of the beach, with a suspended deck with a perfect view of the ocean. The Inn has available two (2) large pools, one with Jacuzzi.
- Coast Bar - Located on a beautiful deck, in front of the beach, near the pools. Here is served our world famous "Caipirinha" with various fruits, native side dishes and lunch. Served to our guests in the beach and also in the pools. OPen from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
- Deck Bar - Located in an outside environment, the bar is set in a nice deck. Surrounded by a larg garden and a patio with couches and cables lit by candles. Open form 5:30 PM to 11:30 PM.
- Gym - Located in the main house, with 3 mats, 2 bikes and a mirror for gymnastics.
- TV Room - Located in the main house, the TV room has a 42 inch TV with home theater and lazy couches.
- Game Room - Located in the main house in a welcoming environment, the room has a table for all types of card games. There is also available for you, balls for volleyball and other beach sports.
- Restaurant - At Aldeia de Sao Joao Restaurant is served breakfast and after 6PM you can enjoy tropical and international culinary with a great wine selectin. Located in the center of the Inn, in our garden with beach view, by candle light. Open only for breakfast 7:00 AM to 10:30 AM and for diner 6:00 PM to 11:30 PM.
- Shop - The Inn offers to you a small boutique that 2 of the world famous brands, Richards and Salinas.
- InterNet - All our guests have high speed internet access in the lobby.
- Massage - Our massage room is especially located in front of the beach and natural surroundings. You may choose between our man massages: relaxing, linfatic draining, podal reflexology and facial massage.
Getting Here:
Fly into the itnernational airport at Porto Seguro and then one of two ways from the airport to the Pousada:
1) Ferry to Arraial D'Ajuda and then to the pousada
