ABOUT SOLAR DE LA PLAZA HOTEL - in their own words:
SOLAR DE LA PLAZA HOTEL is in the Argentinian Northwest, in the province of Salta, two hours flight from Buenos Aires City. It is located in 669 Juan M. Leguizamon Street, opposite General Guemes Square, also called the Legislature Square and nearly four blocks from Ihe commercial and banking center and the traditional 9 de Julio Square where we also find The Cathedral and the Cabildo at the square’s sides.

The hotel has thirty rooms. All of them have been decorated with typical regional crafts in iron, different types of wood, alpaca (A kind of silver) etc.

  • Twelve De Luxe Junior rooms and Fourteen De Luxe Senior rooms with King size beds or two iron and bronze beds made by local craftmen
  • Two Twin superior rooms with balcony to Guemes Square
  • Two Suites King size bed with baldachin, living-room with a divan (10w couch) which can be used as an additional bed. The bathroom has antebathroom and Hydromassage. The suites have two television sets. The living-room has a view to Guemes Square and the bedrooms face the Interior.

Each room is equipped with:

  • satellite television
  • mini bar
  • access to internet
  • individual cold-hot air conditioning system
  • digital safe box
  • magnetic key

Room service and all the details of comfort and warmth are offered to the guest who travels for pleasure or on business

In the Old House with iron gates the guest will find old style furniture, boisserie, wooden floors with different designs in each place in wood typical of the Saltenian North such as Lapacho( American timber tree), Walnut tree, Palo Blanco ( White Pole tree), Quina (Red wood tree), tipa colorada (Yellow flowered hard red wood tree). The glass showcase with regional articles made of alpaca and the fireplaces stand out in the place where the two hotel suites and the two superior rooms are located.
