About House of Jasmines - in the words of Travel & Leisure February 2005:
The hottest attraction in Argentina's northwest is the seven-suite House of Jasmines, actor Robert Duvall's 120-year-old, 300-acre ranch in the shadow of the Andes. On foot or horseback, guests are free to roam the Edenic grounds, which are overrun with aromatic roses, orchids and jasmine. Inside your white-on-white adobe casita, the best treat you can give yourselves is a long diesta in the wrought-iron four-poster bed.

About House of Jasmines - in their own words:
The house of Jasmines is situated in the Argentine Province of Salta. A two hour trip separates this resort from Buenos Aires. Yes, only 120 minutes. Nevertheless, once you step onto the land of Salta you will feel the atmosphere of a destiny off the beaten track and magical at the same time. A paradise which is rich in history and legends. It was named Salta by its first inhabitants, hundreds years ago. Translated from quechua, that means “the beauty”. And they were right! Visitors to this province are surprised and hypnotized by the aridity of high country region, forests with heavy vegetation in the north, more that 50 species of trees and hundreds of different kinds of birds. Salta is a charming, dreamy place from the colonial time. Its valleys are rich with Argentina’s history. Those who settled in Salta constructed elegant residencies and ranches, evidence of the aristocracy that represented the golden times of this nation. The colonial style construction merges with the culture of native people in one of the most exquisite resorts in Latin America.

The House of Jasmines is a faithful reflection of this elegant stately home. More than a hundred years old, it opens its doors today as a magnificent Inn. All those who appreciate good taste and wish to enjoy “home made cooking” and nature in all its splendor have a place here. The House of Jasmines sits on 300 acres, surrounded by the charm of nature. Visitors will be delighted by the entrance to “one-hundred-year-old tree avenue”, a ditch which runs across the field, the Arenales River which borders the Ranch field, a wall made 100m high poles, and a plethora of jasmines mingling with heavy vegetation.
It is far more than a secret place in earth. The House of Jasmines is your place in the world.
